Darrian and Logan met 5 years ago at a youth sporting event and as you can see the rest is history.

But I’m curious…Have you ever seen a proposal during a wedding reception? I haven’t either, but hearing Darrian and Logan’s proposal story makes me want to photograph one! In May of 2021, Darrian had just walked the stage at graduation and received her Bachelor’s Degree. That evening, she and Logan were helping close friends tie the knot. During the reception’s traditional bouquet toss, the bride turned around and handed the bouquet directly to Darrian. She was then turned around to see Logan down on one knee asking her to be his wife. Lots of tears and smiles led to the sweetest “YES”!

While we were chatting about Darrian’s vision for wedding photography, I could sense that she was going to be the perfect fit for out community of brides. Getting to their engagement session felt like an eternity but once the date popped up on my calendar I was beyond excited to meet them.

Their interaction with each other was so natural and kind. They shared so many laughs. The smiley kisses… well they were just perfection. I could truly feel the love that have between them.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about what makes my work/business so unique. I think it’s this…My goal every session is to leave my couples feeling confident, loved, and timeless. Looking at the images below, I hope that’s exactly what they see!
