Without sounding cliche, my journey into photography started years ago. In middle school actually. My best friend and I would dream about someday opening a studio and decorating it in early 2000's teen decor (obviously a terrible idea). There have been bumps in the road but it has always been my heart.
Like I said, this dream developed quite early. It was fueled by Kodak disposable cameras and embarrassing photos of myself and my dear friend, Kali.
In high school I was able to take several art classes and was a member of the Yearbook and Newspaper's staff. I got to have a few fun photo shoots with the school issued camera. I knew that I loved holding that camera in my hand. But as my high school career pressed forward I felt this daunting feeling of needing to go into a field that would ensure I "made money". So I put my love for photography on the back burner and hoped for the best.
That was in 2011 (!!!). Today, I am in my 7th year of business and so thankful for the two years after high school that gave me the courage to give this a go.

The spunky 3.5 year old that makes a friend (or 2) everywhere he goes
The silly 1 year old who loves to play, eat puffs and sleeps like a champ
Christmas, birthdays, showers. You can find me scouring Pinterest trying to find a wrapping idea. I love intricate details and pretty name tags. Once I wrapped all Christmas in newspaper and pretty red and green ribbon. Most recently, I added the recipients name in calligraphy to each gift.
