Myles + Linzie - Alaina Kristine

This past Saturday I had the honor of photographing Linzie and Myles’ wedding day! They said ‘I do’ and danced the night away about at Southern Illinois’ most beautiful barn venue, A Pocket Full of Sunshine LLC. While it was a toasty one, we had so much time built into their timeline that we were able to take breaks and let these two cool off.

When Linzie first reached about me working their wedding I remember looking these two up online. It was quickly decided that they enjoyed giving each other a hard time. My favorite part of the day was watching them engage in their typical banter while also getting to see the sweet moments during their first look and so many other times throughout the day. I caught Myles just gazing at her as they walked more times than I can count. That’s partly what I love about my job the most. I get a front-row seat to moments like that that their guests and even family may miss.

With the ceremony starting at five o’clock in the evening, it set up the timeline perfectly for golden hour portraits during their cocktail hour. It’s a good thing we got them in because once the party started, pulling these two off the dancefloor may have been near to impossible!
