Changing the senior portrait experience in southern Illinois
At AKP, we are changing the senior portrait game in Southern Illinois. And we want you to be a part of it! Since starting the Senior Street Team in 2017, we have grown in tremendous ways! This year we are looking to implement new and fun facets of the SST Experience! We will be selecting new team members for 2020-2021! Here are some of the perks of being on our team!
SENIOR MODEL PHOTOSHOOTS
These photoshoots take months to plan, style, and coordinate with local hair and makeup artists. As a SST Member you will get to participate in 2 styled shoots with other team members!
FUN COMMUNITY EVENTS
We are excited to announce adding a few ways to give back to our awesome community! We ask that our team members participate in two major AKP Community campaigns we will announce this fall!
EXCLUSIVE AK VIP PARTY
Another new feature of the SST Experience is a VIP Party open to team members and their friends where we will reveal the entire set of images from the years' styled shoots for the VERY FIRST TIME! This will be an invite only party full of live music, giveaways, and TONS of fun!
CUSTOM SENIOR PORTRAITS
The AK Senior Portrait Experience is SO much more than a typical senior portrait session. It's designed to represent you, in this season, in a way that will last a lifetime! As a SST Member, you are required to book a senior session with AKP. The cost is included in the SST Fee. This will consist of a style consult, and a 2-hour session on location with 3-4 outfit changes!
INVESTMENT
The AK Senior Street Team is a flat fee of $500 and includes your senior portrait session as well as 2 styled shoots, AKP gear and special opportunities for more shoots as they arise! Prints and photo products are sold separately.
With a larger group, we have decided it is best to do all four shoots on the same weekend! This means that each day will have 2 shoots! With 20 teams members, we have also decided to select 2 of the 4 sessions for each member to participate in! You will receive your selected shoot "theme" and will be responsible to find outfit options that coordinate. We will give direction and examples but you will be left to create YOUR look!

The application process for the Class of 2020 AK Senior Street Team begins on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 11th and closes SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 17th! We are looking fort loving, kind, bubbly personalities! At least time we will be opening the program up to all the apply and pay their SST FEE by December 1st.
REQUIREMENTS
If selected, all SST Members are required to have their Senior Portrait Session at AKP. The Team Fee includes the Senior Session fee which includes a pre-session styling consultation as well as a 2 hour custom on-location photoshoot featuring up to 4 outfits. Prints and products are sold separately.
Members MUST attend their assigned styled shoots (this includes hair and makeup). All other events are not mandatory but encouraged.
