Maggie, Maggie! We are over the moon to add you to the AKP family this year! I met Maggie last fall and instantly fell in love with her sweet personality!

She is a 2019 MVTHS Senior and is active in academic, social, and athletic organizations on campus! She is a member of the Varsity volleyball team and a competitive dance studio here in Mount Vernon . Maggie also serves as a Student Council and National Honors Society member. Last but not least, she participates on the Speech and Acting Team in high school! Whew… busy, busy!

Her favorite quote is from Ralph Waldo Emerson,“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” This rings so true in today’s young people. And I’m so happy to attest that no matter what is “cool” or “popular” Maggie can always be seen staying true to herself! That is a major feat as a teenager!

Maggie describes herself as a confident person! And her little brother thinks she’s “AWESOME!” Too cute and too accurate! Maggs is pretty awesome!
