I’ve always admired couples who have dated a long period of time before moving onto marriage. I think it says a lot about their commitment and ability to persevere through adversity. Aubrie and River have been together for years. Through college, a career that sends River away for stretches of time (he works for the railroad), and everyday annoyances, these two are magnificently in love! It’s clear to see when you are with them and translates beautifully in photographs. *Just wait, you’ll see*

Their engagement session was the perfect way to end the 90 Degree heat. Wouldn’t you know, the next day we were blessed with sunny and 75! They were such sports about cozying up in fall looks even through the crazy OCTOBER heat! I know we’ll get our fair share if cold temps when these two say ‘I do’ in February!!

Until then, I’m going to enjoy the Southern Illinois fall and these gorgeous images that capture these two so so so sweetly! I hope you do too!
