The heat of summer arrived just in time for Brandon and Avery’s baseball-inspired wedding day. The hustle and bustle of the morning was already settling as I arrived at the church where Avery and her girls were getting ready. I loved getting to meet her sweet grandma. She was wearing a robe that matched the bridal party, it was so fun! Tears flowed as Avery’s momma zipped her into her wedding gown. The beautiful light coming from the large windows hit that dress with perfection.
I knew that once Avery was in her dress she would be anxious to see her groom. We didn’t waste any time! Their first look was the most perfect thing. There were so many long embraces as Brandon saw his soon-to-be bride for the first time. Lots of giggles, twirls, and smiles. It was such a special moment for them.
Portraits in front of this beautiful flowering tree were some of my favorite. The bridal party was such troopers in the heat and we got them done quickly so they could cool off before the ceremony!
My favorite part of the day? Watching Avery and Brandon interact with Avery’s siblings. Avery is the oldest of six! SIX! The way she and Brandon laughed and goofed with her siblings throughout the day reminded me of me and my siblings!
I loved how they used their passion of sports (baseball in particular) to inspire so many of the decorations. While I can relate to being a sports fanatic, I am a bit concerned that these two are a split home of CARDS and CUBS fans! Lord bless them! Ha!!
The night ended with the most beautiful light which meant the most beautiful portraits! Trust me, you’ll want to scroll to the end!
Y’all this light… so so beautiful and delicate!
These two were so precious. Lots of sweet sweet tears between mom and daughter.
I gladly take portraits in front of this tree whenever these newlyweds would like!
This guest book was such a unique idea and heard several people comment on how clever it was!
Told you, you didn’t want to miss these!
