I love hearing couple’s “stories”. What led them to one another, what obstacles have they overcome in their time together. And then obviously I want to hear ALL ABOUT the day he got down on his knee and asked her to be the Mrs. to his Mr. I was lucky enough to have today’s couple share just a bit about what makes them Mr. & Mrs. Snow!

From Devin…

“Cody and I met at Webber Township High School in 2005. I thought he was downright adorable. We started dating in November of that year. We were practically inseparable. In 2012 in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee Cody got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I, of course, gladly said yes. Cody moved down to Carbondale for school and I lived at home. That was tough since we had always been so close. That’s probably why we got married so quickly… so we could be back together. It was also about that time I was pretty sure my dreams of being a teacher wouldn’t come true. Cody was always there pushing me and telling me to do what would make me happy.We got married in June of 2013, at a small Christian church in Keenes, IL, surrounded by our closest family and friends.”

Cody and Devin traveled all the way from St. Louis for their session! I was SHOCKED when they told me that they hadn’t had their pictures taken since their wedding…nearly 5 YEARS AGO! I was thrilled they chose me to break their portrait drought!

Their session was the perfect shade of autumn! They actually ended up being some of my favorite portraits from last year! Go on and dive into their beautiful images that so evidently show their fun personality and endless love!
